It is heading quickly into Christmas and the festive season when we all struggle to think of the best and lasting presents to give our loved ones and friends.
Naturally we would recommend a yearly subscription to our magazine which we can send to any point of the globe.
For that go to www.jaguarmagazine.com

The in our current edition we have reviewed two of the best Jaguar books published since the passing of the great Andrew Whyte in 1988! That’s a big big call.
I have put both reviews up here for you to read now.
The first is a spectacular limited edition (603) book tracing the incredible life of ex-works and Ecurie Ecosse Long Nose D-Type XKD603. It is the only car to have started four consecutive Le Mans races and in 1957 it finished second.
The car is amazingly original and doted on by owner, author and publisher, Clive Beecham. He has not missed a thing and the images are not to be missed – this is a true historic book and thoroughly collectable investment.
It is available on-line from
The other book is one written and published in New Zealand by Ian ‘Blue’ Dorward – the man who was the head of TWR’s victory programme at Bathurst in 1985, and all of the remaining TWR XJ-S events through until their final race.
He also built and crewed cars for ‘Captain’ Peter Janson, Allan Grice, plus John Goss.
He may be a great engineer, but he is the equal as a writer. This book is incredibly entertaining, as well as a priceless historic document.
Blue tells it EXACTLY as it was, and pulls NO punches at all. Lots of people get their just plaudits while lots also get whacked.
I can’t enthuse enough about this thick book which is sparcely litted with images. That doesn’t matter, it is Blue’s writing we are after.
He corrects so much Jaguar history for the better that this book cannot be ignored.
Its price is AUD$99 delivered to your door.
Because it is too is privately published you can get it by emailing us at:
