We love uncovering something new, and this case it is a 1936 photograph – or at least the S.S.1 in the photo.
We found the car while researching for our next edition, and while we have a general idea of the owner, we have nothing specific.
Almost certainly it was sold new in Sydney, but we can find nothing relating to the registration.
Just when we thought S.S.1 cars had been researched into the ground, something genuine like this comes to light.
We hope it survives still.
